Baking: The most rewarding of creative pursuits.

on

A cold and miserable day today but the smell of a loaf in the oven creates instant cosy homeliness.  Since drastically reducing my fructose intake for the last 12 months I am always struggling to find a treat my family will enjoy also.  This Earl Grey Tea Loaf is a hit.  I omit the added sugar so the entire loaf contains 100g of sultanas and no other sweeteners.  Everyone loved it and I enjoy it as a special treat.  The recipe comes from “The Great British Bake Off Everyday:  100 foolproof recipes” by Linda Collister (https://books.google.com.au/books?isbn=1849906084)
